Sunny yellow paint and an exuberant green-and-white print enlivens this small space. Bookshelves were custom-built by a contractor to take advantage of the seemingly unusable three-foot-high gap on each side of the room created by the low-pitched roof.

White & Wood Bedroom
This rustic room was converted from three smaller bedrooms into a spacious master suite. The windows were placed high on the wall to allow room for an outdoor shed. An upholstered back and wings were added to a ladder-back chair to form this unusual yet charming hybrid. An iron bed frame, vintage chest, and exposed wood beams and floors all add to the feel of a log cabin retreat.
Opulent Bedroom
Pale gray-blue walls, vintage linens, and romantic prints create a restful atmosphere. This mirror would have been an asset anywhere; used as a headboard, it transforms the bedroom.
