A cherrywood four-poster bed from the 1950s came from a Kentucky antiques mall. Pinecones, plucked straight from the yard, take the place of traditional finials. The armoire, old toy box with matching stand, and distinctive oil portrait were all discovered at local flea markets.
Dating from the 1930s through the '50s and worth $80 to $150 apiece, these valises add up to a stunning side table—one that also provides off-season clothing storage.
